I started my PDR journey in 2007 after 10 years in the medical field. I decided to buy an established company from a friend who was leaving the country.

We only managed to get in 2 weeks of training before she had to have surgery and I was out on my own and reality set in! This was going to be a lot harder than I naively though!

The first few years were a huge struggle; the winters were brutal working outside and being a female in a male dominated industry made me want to quit on many occasions and if I am honest, during that first year I had no business fixing anything that wasn’t destined for the scrap yard! but I was determined to prove to myself that I could do this so I persevered and with the help and patience from another seasoned tech I can now say I am proud of the repairs I can accomplish.
